CRU WINE BAR is currently looking for a dynamic wine passionate service-oriented individual to join our team.

Job Summary


The General Manager leads duties related to day to day operations of an upscale casual environment. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, guest relations and ensures superior food quality and strong customer service skills.

• Manages overall day to day operations of the restaurant
• Hire, Train and Evaluate all team members
• Prepare annual budget and monthly forecast
• Manages all reporting including monthly P & L statements, general ledgers, and inventory
• Manage all prime cost (food & beverage), in conjunction to budget (operating expenses) and adjusting sales
• Maintains excellent relationships with guests and staff
• Superb salesmanship on selling wine to guests
• Touches tables to interact with guests ensuring expectations are exceeded
• A polished, effortless, and natural floor presence
• Strong passion for wine knowledge and guest service standards
• Responsible for updating wine menus, purchases and tasting notes

Requirements:

Applicants must have majority of requirements below for employment consideration:

• Minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience
• Wine Training/Sommelier Certifications is a major plus
• Someone who brings ideas and solutions.
• Able to multitask, think quickly and make good decisions
• Experience with inventory and understanding profitable costs
• Ability to lead and motivate a team daily
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook)
• Must be dependable, reliable, and selfmotivated
• Impeccable standards for excellent food quality and cleanliness

Pay:
$60, $65,000.00 per year
