Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk.

As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for providing support to our accounting department and ensuring accurate financial records.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform data entry and maintain financial records
  • Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
  • Assist in monthend and yearend closing procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information

Skills:


  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as an accounting clerk or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Pro is a plus

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
