    Description

    Sr. Cardiac Sonographer

    We are looking for a Senior Cardiac Sonographer to join our team based in San Francisco, California. As a Senior Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiographic ultrasound studies on different patient groups, interpreting acquired data, and developing preliminary reports following departmental procedures. You will work closely with the echocardiography lab team to ensure the completion of scheduled exams and maintain a high standard of care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform echocardiographic ultrasound studies and interpret data
    • Develop preliminary reports according to job standards
    • Work collaboratively with other sonographers
    • Provide all clinical modalities offered in the Echo Lab
    • Contribute to the team dynamic through communication and productivity

    Requirements for Basic Sonographer Classification:

    • Must hold a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification or equivalent
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Completion of an approved cardiac sonographer training program
    • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work weekends and holidays
    • Prior experience in adult cardiac echocardiograms
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

    Requirements for Sr. Level Sonographer Classification:

    • Completion of an approved cardiac sonographer training program
    • Minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience in adult cardiac echocardiograms
    • Current registry through ARDMS (RDCS) or equivalent
    • BLS certification
    • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program
    • Experience in academic hospital settings and with specific patient populations

    Skills and Certifications:

    • Current registry through ARDMS or equivalent
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Completion of an approved cardiac sonographer training program
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Flexibility to work at all Medical Center locations
    • Experience with specific patient populations
    • Prior experience in adult cardiac echocardiograms
    • Minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience in adult cardiac echocardiograms

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Holds registry through ARDMS or equivalent
    • Minimum of 1 or more years of post-graduate experience in adult cardiac echos
    • Completion of an approved cardiac sonographer training program
    • Experience with specific patient populations

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $165,000 - $205,000.00 per year
