We have an opening for a home health aide to join our growing team.

You will be tasked with helping patients with personal care, minor medical needs, housekeeping, and other daily needs as required by the patient.


Right at Home is a reputable care provider committed to providing quality and personalized care with respect and compassion is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide or Personal care assistant to join its team.

We are Looking for someone willing to do short hours shifts, could be 4 or 5 hours, on weekends or week days

Responsibilities

  • Provide health care services in patient's residences
  • Perform domestic and household tasks
  • Transport and accompany patients to the doctor's office or to the hospital
  • Assist with client's personal care activities
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
  • Maintain patient's care records and document provided services
  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
  • Have familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
  • Have proper nursing and health care administration skills

Requirements:


  • A Valid (NYS) HHA Certifications or PCA Certification
  • A Physical within the past 9 months
  • PPD within the past 9 months or chest xray within 5 years
  • Proof of MMR Immunization
  • Drug Screen
  • Valid ID and Social Security Card
  • Warmth, compassion, patience, trustworthiness, an upbeat and confident personality, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills

If COVID-19 vaccinated, please provide a vaccination card

Schedule:


  • 54 hours shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Selfdetermined schedule
  • Weekend availability
