Accepting Applications for Animal Medical Care Staff


This position involves examination and monitoring of animals for health and wellness; administering treatments and medications to shelter animals; animal restraint; and accurate data entry/computer skills.


Applicants should be personable and possess good communication skills (in person and in writing), as this position requires effective communication about animal health with the Shelter Veterinarian, other staff members, volunteers, interns, and members of the public.

Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail are also essential qualities for success on the Medical Staff.

Starting pay:
$15.50/hour

Some weekend, evening, and holiday hours will be required.
