We are a group private practice in Scottsdale, AZ near the Scottsdale Quarter looking for a licensed associate counselor (LAC) to join our team Supervision is provided at no charge by an AZBBHE approved supervisor on site (optional and as a separate contract - you are welcome to have an outside supervisor).

Our focus is on holistic and comprehensive counseling.


Requirements for this position:

• Willingness to see 20+ clients per week
• Experience in (or willingness to train) in treating children and teenagers adults and biofeedback
• Preference given to individuals with somatic interventions or knowledge of AIP model (EMDR, SE, Brainspotting, etc)
• LAC credentials
• Willingness to learn billing and new EHR system
• New clients will be scheduled by the practice. As an independent contractor, you will be primarily responsible for all communication with current clients (HIPAA secure messaging provided).
• Complete paperwork in a timely manner (24 hours after seeing each patient). A completed session includes a completed note.
• Minimum 1year commitment to the position. Pay will increase at 1 year mark.

Pay:
$60 per session (pay will be higher if you choose to participate in our EMDR or OCD specialty clinics). You will be provided 10 paid minimum hours weekly while you build up your caseload and for all weeks you have over 10 available hours open. As this is a independent contractor position, it does not provide benefits. However, we have list of benefit resources which you can easily access (health insurance, dental insurance, retirement savings, short term disability, etc.). We also provide a calculator for you to determine how much to save per paycheck to cover sick days and time off.

At this time - the position is primarily in-person with virtual flexibility.
