_Physical Therapy Technician _ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Demonstrates respect for, adherence to and promotion of the mission and philosophy of Red Canyon Physical Therapy.
- Ensures the patient care policies and procedures are followed, in compliance with applicable quality of care standards.
- Compliant with HIPAA guidelines, provides privacy and maintains confidentiality.
- Consistently and appropriately responds to the needs and concerns of patients, families, and visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.
- Demonstrates awareness of potential hazards and reports unsafe conditions to appropriate staff to maintain a safe environment for residents, families and staff.
- Participate in facility and department meetings as appropriate.
- Orient new staff as requested.
- Assist clinical rehabilitation staff with preparation of treatment area. Will assist with patient treatment only under the approved supervisory rules and regulations pertaining to each discipline.
- Maintain the cleaning, maintenance and inventory of all Rehab equipment.
- Schedule rehabilitation appointments and do intakes of new patients.
- Maintain working knowledge and competent use of Red Canyon Physical Therapy computer systems sufficient to perform duties.
- Other clerical assistance in the office as requested.
