- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing, OR

- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 5+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing, OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 12+ years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support AND experience with Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's Degree
- Established relationships with wholesale brokers
- Sound understanding of underwriting philosophy, techniques, regulations, and risk assessment
- Knowledge of time requirements for quotes on new and renewal business

Description
Zurich E&S Financial Lines is currently seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join the Wholesale Public, Management Liability team in either New York City, Chicago, or Atlanta. This role focuses on the wholesale broker channel and presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the expanding E&S Financial Lines team. The position offers a hybrid working schedule, combining in-office and virtual work.
In this role, you will underwrite and conduct financial analysis for management liability products such as D&O, EPL, Crime, and Fiduciary for publicly traded commercial companies of various sizes. The responsibilities involve technical underwriting, production, interacting with the market, and contributing to product development, marketing, fulfillment, and portfolio management.
The position will be filled at either the Senior Underwriter (Level III) or AVP, Senior Underwriter (Level IV) level, based on the applicant's experience and skill set as evaluated by the hiring manager.
