We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Nursing Specialist B.Sc. (m/f/d) with a focus on Heart Failure for our
Cardiovascular Department in Tiltonsville, OH.

As an academic nursing professional, you will be assigned to one of our Cardiology or Cardiothoracic Surgery units.

As part of a partial leave for research and conceptual work, you will have the opportunity to contribute and implement your ideas for the development of nursing care.


Your responsibilities:

  • Nursing care for patients with highly complex needs based on evidencebased decisions
  • Taking responsibility for and implementing the entire nursing process, as well as providing advice and guidance to patients (m/f/d) and their families, utilizing your academic knowledge and skills
  • Participation in an interdisciplinary training and treatment concept for heart failure
  • Identifying potential for improvement in nursing care for patient groups or symptoms
  • Developing practical research questions and implementing innovative solutions in your own professional field
  • Initiating and conducting training on nursing topics for the nursing staff on the unit

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed threeyear training in Health and Pediatric Nursing, Health and Nursing Care, or Elderly Care
  • Completed degree (usually in Nursing or Nursing Science B.Sc.)
  • Knowledge and experience in acute inpatient care is desirable, but not required
  • Interest in further training as a Heart Failure Nurse
  • Ability to apply the knowledge acquired during your studies in patient care and work in an interdisciplinary team to further develop direct patient care
