We are seeking a
Site Superintendent to join our federal team based at
USAG
Camp Humphrey's in Pyeongtek, South Korea supporting our Maintenance and Service team based on site.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high security facility while living in a foreign country leading a team to provide critical services to a high visibility facility.

Location:
Camp Humphrey's military base, South Korea (military experience not required). Must be able to live and work in South Korea on a full-time basis.

As a
Superintendent, you will:


  • Supervises the field maintenance and services for a high security facility to ensure that scheduled maintenance and work orders are completed on schedule, within the budget, and with the quality workmanship expected by the company and the customer
  • Supervises, inspects, reviews, records and reports on all site maintenance related activity ensuring that the assigned site personnel perform their work on schedule.
  • Supervises a team of technicians including Controls Technicians, Fire Alarm Technicians and BMS operators. Responsible for training and manning of shifts at a 24/7 facility.
  • Performs or delegates tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects including: system programming, integration, installation coordination, system and network commissioning and project closeout
  • Understand and develop means and methods for the maintenance/service requirements of the particular project (in conjunction with Project Manager).
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of all employees and subcontractors.
  • Assist with quality control functions per contract (COE) requirements (submittal reviews, daily reports, preparatory meetings and other quality control program features) to ensure project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Enforce, facilitate and follow Company and contract safety requirements. Assist with SSHO functions per company standard practices and per contract (COE) requirement if required per the position.
  • Schedule and plan work tasks, monitor progress of work with schedule updates (in conjunction with Project Manager)
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts (in conjunction with Project Manager)
  • Coordinate inspections, verifications, tests, and other contractual requirements with client.
  • Participate in regular project/site meetings with subcontractors, architects, engineers, client representatives and other groups.
  • Direct and coordinate subcontractor activities.
  • Is the primary management team member on the site on a daytoday basis to identify and correct issues or deficiencies and/or escalate issues and deficiencies up the management chain to Project Manager and/or regional management.
  • Conducts self study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's procedures. Completes certifications as required by the company.
  • Maintain the equipment records in the site CMMC system.
  • Diagnoses and repairs electronic control system malfunctions requiring knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems, and testing and writing modifications of systems software.

Required Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of project coordination and supervision experience of construction projects in the commercial and/or industrial building construction industry.
  • Technical, handson experience with systems design, commissioning and programming of digital HVAC controls systems (DDC controls).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for employee supervision and client interface.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and basic Windows environment
  • Ability to live in South Korea for an extended period of time
  • Active
    Top Secret with SCI eligibility required at time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with Federal and/or State government maintenance and service projects
  • Experience working with project scopes of $1 million or larger
  • Experience managing teams of various trades
  • Proficiency with integration protocols (Bacnet, Lonworks, Modbus, etc)
  • Technical Proficiency working with Metasys and/or Tridium Niagara software
  • Experience managing or leading HVAC related projects and associated teams
  • OSHA 30 Certification
