    We have an Excellent career opportunity for aCommercial Chief Building Engineerto join a leading Company inTampa, FL.
    The Salary Range is between $100- $110K DOE.

    As a Commercial Chief Building Engineer for our mixed-use development, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and functionality of our commercial and retail spaces.

    You will collaborate closely with the property management team and various stakeholders to deliver exceptional building conditions, energy efficiency, and tenant satisfaction.

    The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of commercial and retail spaces within the mixed-use development.
    Troubleshoot and address HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems issues promptly and effectively.
    Monitor and maintain building automation systems to optimize energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
    Respond to tenant inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
    Coordinate and oversee contracted services for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
    Conduct regular preventative maintenance activities to extend the lifespan of building equipment and systems.
    Collaborate with property management to plan and execute capital improvement projects.
    Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment specifications.
    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, conducting regular safety inspections.
    Monitor and manage building systems' performance to meet sustainability and energy efficiency goals.
    Provide input on budgeting for maintenance and repair activities.

    Basic Hiring Criteria:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and Experience.
    Minimum of 3-5 years of Experience in commercial building (Class A or B) maintenance and engineering
    Chiller and Cooling Tower Experience
    Managerial Experience as you will oversee a team.

    Desired Qualifications:
    Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
    Familiarity with building automation systems and energy management practices
    Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and team members.
