    Job Description:

    The IT Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics Manager is primarily responsible for leading a team of BI & Data Professionals for the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence and analytical capabilities. These include both new development and ongoing support for various business units. The IT Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics Manager will support and implement solutions that lead to insightful analytics, make predictions or generate recommendations, using best-in-breed tools. This role is part of Corporate IT and you will have overall responsibility for the dissemination of data visualization thinking and skills into the rest of the organization, including our BI and Data Science teams that utilize advanced techniques. Core skills: SQL, Leadership, Power BI, Microsoft, SSRS, reporting, BI, Business Intelligence, Business intelligence management, Communication skills, Database, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SSRS, Recruitment, Software.

    Responsibilities:

    Leadership and Strategy:

    - Develop and execute the overall business intelligence and analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals.

    - Lead a team of BI analysts providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable analytics initiatives.

    Data Governance:

    - Collaborate with the data governance department in establishing and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of the organization's data assets.

    - Collaborate with the enterprise data in Implementing best practices for data management, data quality, and data privacy.

    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    - Oversee and define standards for the design and development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide meaningful insights to business stakeholders.

    - Conduct in-depth analysis of data trends, patterns, and anomalies to support data-driven decision-making.

    Technology Management:

    - Evaluate and implement cutting-edge BI and analytics tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data analysis processes.

    - Work closely with IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of BI solutions with existing systems and databases.

    Performance Monitoring:

    - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics to measure the success and impact of BI and analytics initiatives.

    - Monitor and report on the performance of BI applications, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.

    Training and Development:

    - Develop training programs to enhance the analytical skills of team members and end-users.

    - Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote a data-driven culture within the organization.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in an IT Leadership / Management role.
    • SQL, SSRS, Databricks, and Power BI experience
    • Strong communication skills and ability to convert requirements into actionable reports
    • Ability to provide project leadership while also still being hands on in SQL and writing Power BI
    • Demonstrate expertise in Visualization
    • BI/Analytics experience is required
    • Project Management - experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Agile environment experience
    • Experience in writing SQL required
    • Dashboard and Reporting tools experience including Qlik, SSRS, PowerBI and Crystal Reports.
    • Data Warehouse and Microsoft BI environment experience.
    • Team lead experience including creating growth plans, mentoring, reviewing, recruiting, and hiring.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar is preferred.
