Description

Bridge Field Engineer

Team member will have sufficient knowledge of surveying and basic engineering principles.

Core Competencies:

General understanding of construction surveying
Proficient in calculations and data entry
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook

Core Duties:

Be punctual, dependable, and professional
Lead by example
Assist Foreman and Superintendent with material delivery documentation, entry of daily forms, and material usage tracking
Supply monthly estimates and field data for analysis to the office
Assist Foremen and Superintendents as needed with layout
Liaison between SCI and NCDOT / Project Owner
Willingness to work hours as required

Education/Training/Certification:

OSHA Training
Level II Erosion Control Supervisor
First Aid/CPR
Two-year engineering degree (min.) preferred
