Serving those in need throughout the eight-County San Joaquin valley, our clients non-profit serves the hungry, homeless, disaster-stricken, out-of-work and suffering individuals and families with dozens of programs. If you want the work you do to make a difference in others lives, keep reading.
Denham Resources has exclusively been asked to find the right individual to serve as the Finance Director of this worthy Non-Profit organization. If you have the skills and requirements this may be your next forever home.
-Work directly with Executive Director regarding budgets, financial report and analysis, special purpose reports and other projects as requested by Executive Director and Board.
-Responsible for regulatory compliance per governing non-profit guidelines
-Prepare documentation for external audits
-Ensure appropriate internal controls are implemented, followed, and documented
-Oversite and management of accounting team assuring all processes are followed and completed in timely manner including A/R, A/P and Payroll
-Prepares program budgets with Executive Director and ensure proper fund reporting is accurate
-Maintains the general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers properly reflecting all financial transactions for each program, and services offered
Ensure related duties as directed within specific grant and organization guidelines are followed
Requirements
-4-year bachelors degree in accounting, required; CPA or Masters is a plus
-4-6 years experience in staff accounting or supervisory position required
-Prior experience in processing Non-Profit transactions and reports strongly preferred, but not required
-Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
-Experience or proficiency with MIP Abila software is a plus
-Willingness and ability to work overtime as required
-Strong knowledge of IT systems and Accounting Software
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
