Description

As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing transportation logistics to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.

• Receive and prioritize incoming requests for transportation services
• Dispatch drivers and vehicles to assigned locations
• Monitor routes and schedules to ensure ontime delivery
• Utilize transportation management systems and GPS technology to track vehicles and optimize routes
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates on delivery status
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and costeffectiveness
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities using relevant software
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure adequate inventory levels for timely deliveries
• Handle emergency situations or changes in delivery plans effectively

• Proven experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role
• Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS technology
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
