    Description

    Carillon Senior Living is currently seeking a driven and passionate individual for the role of Director of Life Enrichment.



    Responsibilities:
    • Interview, train, and supervise various coordinators and staff members.
    • Plan and oversee a diverse range of activities to cater to residents' needs and interests.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with external resources to enhance programming.
    • Organize transportation services for residents and manage community events.
    • Ensure adequate resources for all programs and maintain the community newsletter.
    • Facilitate new resident orientation and support their transition.
    • Manage community amenities such as the library and in-house television channel.
    • Collaborate with other departments to provide holistic educational opportunities.
    • Develop and implement outreach programs and support marketing initiatives.
    • Comply with regulatory standards and oversee budget and reporting requirements.

    Additional Duties:
    • Encourage resident participation in community programs.
    • Engage in ongoing training and uphold community branding guidelines.
    • Support hospitality programs and assist during emergency situations.
    • Adhere to directives from Executive Director and Administrator.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Preferably a degree in recreational therapy or Activity Director Certification.
    • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in geriatrics, recreation, or social administration.
    • Demonstrated supervisory experience.
    • Effective communication skills and proficiency in English.
