My home in Copperhill, TN has polystyrene ("white cork") ceilings covered with a thin layer of plaster. In the 3 bedrooms, I have ceiling fixtures that always give me trouble because the screws end up coming out of the white cork ceiling. I would like to replace all of these fixtures with LED lighting, as I have read that it does not heat up and is "compatible" with this type of ceiling.
