- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
- 3+ years of progressive healthcare accounting experience required; 5+ years preferred.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including proformas, dashboards, and ad hoc financial analyses for executive leadership and practice sites.
- Assist the CFO in the development and administration of the annual operating budget.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Eagle's compensation formula and serve as backup to the CFO in executing provider compensation calculations.
- Administer and calculate APP bonus programs accurately and timely.
- Code, review, and approve invoices to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and manage the organization's contract repository, including oversight of building leases.
- Develop and maintain productive vendor relationships and support contract negotiations and financial review processes.
- Monitor financial performance across practice sites, identify underperformance trends, and collaborate on corrective action plans.
- Coordinate and lead financial or operational projects as assigned by the CFO.
- Attend leadership and operational meetings as requested; document minutes and provide financial insight when applicable.
- Remain current on local and national healthcare finance trends and regulatory changes impacting operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI), employee records, and business data.
- Demonstrate integrity, accountability, professionalism, effective prioritization, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Show respect, courtesy, and advocacy in all interactions with patients, coworkers, and visitors.
- Maintain a positive attitude and team-oriented spirit, with a willingness to assist as needed.
- Communicate clearly in written documentation using proper grammar and professional standards.
- Safeguard records and reports; do not exhibit, divulge, copy, or remove information except to fulfill assigned work responsibilities.
