Principal Program Manager, Antibody Discovery
What You'll Be Doing

  • Navigate the company's most complex, visible, and risky projects.
  • Provide strategic guidance to crossfunctional teams and manage program risks and dependencies.
  • Provide structured mentorship to the rest of the team when needed
  • Provide technical consultation to our partners to enable optimal outcomes for antibody discovery campaigns, including those involving some of the most difficult targets in the
industry

  • Design and manage the execution of antibody discovery campaigns on the industry leading B cell screening platform, the Berkeley Lights Beacon
  • Significant involvement in the business development process and early project discussion/design
  • Frequent communication with partners, including technical support and troubleshooting
  • Frequent coordination with antibody scientists and business development team
  • Management of antibody discovery project timelines, scheduling, and deliverables
  • Data quality control and report analysis/presentation
  • Work with Finance to support the development and implementation of a standard process to invoice Biopharma customers in an expeditious manner as and when required
  • Assist Finance with navigating through the payments processed for invoiced milestones
  • Maintain a "realtime" revenue reporting system that includes all customer (revenuegenerating) biopharma projects
  • Working with Product Management, the Biopharma team, and Finance, develop a Biopharma menu of services and subservices with accurate COGS and enduser pricing to support customer quotes and proposals
  • Participate in hiring, training, and ongoing coaching of additional project management staff to ensure execution of sales and operational performance
  • Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • A passion for antibody discovery and development
  • Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 12 years and a Master's degree in Biological Sciences or related field with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Ph.
D. in Biological Sciences or related field with 8 of relevant industry experience.

  • Extensive experience managing crossfunctional programs
  • Therapeutic antibody drug discovery expertise, ideally utilizing single cell workflows
  • Deep antibody discovery industry understanding/knowledge
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of biologics characterization assays (SPR/BLI affinity ranking/measurement, ELISA, FACS) and functional assays (epitope binning, neutralization screening, li
  • Ability to troubleshoot scientific data and present data to customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (required)
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and able to operate in a fastpaced environment
  • A team player looking to contribute strongly in a growing, hardworking, collaborative, employeeowned company environment.
