Description

This individual owns the overall concept and delivery s of the product(s) associated with the defined roadmap and deliverable schedule.

They collaborate with users and clients to understand and anticipate needs then translate into ?Product Requirements?.

They drive overall vision for the team?s product including but not limited to Persona development, functional modules, reporting dashboards, marketing / campaigning, and user training & adoption.


Based on the vision, they create or enhance the product roadmap, outlining key milestones and features related to general business feedback, market direction, industry trends and movements.

They are responsible for grooming and prioritizing the product backlog of items based upon changing needs. This involves incorporating feature requests and ensuring alignment with client preferences.

The Product Owner ensures all products meet client needs while maintaining efficiency and demonstrating clear ?value add? of our services.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with Aramark sector management to identify, scope, plan and execute IT projects crafted to realize the business objectives outlined in the overall strategic plan.
  • Work with the IT Center of Excellence teams to articulate the needs and priorities of the sector's businesses, ensuring resources are demonstrated sufficiently to deliver on the business commitments and initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with Aramark field operations, senior management, and client personnel to find opportunities for innovation, assessing and understanding the impact of Aramark technology solutions, and lead the execution of the project life cycle with focus on consistent processes, methods and practices required for all business projects and within the project management framework outlined by the AVP of IT.
  • Attend all assigned project meetings and field surveys connected with assigned projects and providing meeting recaps and action items to the project team, corporate management teams, and vendor and client teams as required for the orderly flow of activity connected with projects.
  • Coordinate with the assigned projects business sponsor to understand the project?s desired business value, impact and required deliverables.
  • Participate in the project team assembly and lead the activities of a crossfunctional project team to insure timely execution of all implementation activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project activities for all internal and external collaborators.

User Stories and Development:

  • The Product Owner works closely with the Product Implementation leader, to create user stories that guide product design and development.

Progress Monitoring:


  • Throughout the product lifecycle, they monitor and evaluate progress, ensuring alignment with the vision and course correcting / modifying as market directions prevail.

Scrum Participation:


  • Active participation in Scrum meetings and product sprints is essential, along with ensuring appropriate business unit participation and engagement before, during and after product business reviews.

Qualifications:


  • A bachelor?s degree in computer science, Business, IT, or a related field is preferred, although strong industry expertise and experience will be acceptable.
  • A minimum of 7+ years in a lead Product Owner or Business Analyst role.
  • Technical knowledge should include an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong skillset for gathering requirements and documenting business processes.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (listening, written and verbal)
  • Ability to be a selfstarter, selfmanaged with limited direction at times.
  • Capable of building strong relationships with both business and technology staff members.
  • Possess a sense of urgency and goal / objective based metrics perspective.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong business acumen
  • Strong oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent relationship building, managerial and teamwork skills.

Compensation:


The salary range for this position is from $104,000.00 to $182,000.00 including bonuses and benefits depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.


This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary
