The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking a candidate for a 3-year apprenticeship as an IT system electronics technician (m/f/d) at DB Communication Technology GmbH in Neumünster.

The vocational school is located in Hamburg.

What to expect in your apprenticeship:

Building and maintaining various technical systems in the areas of security, IT and automation technology (including intrusion and fire alarm systems, video and sound systems, displays, ticket machines, hot wheel detection systems, various radio technologies, and more)
Working outdoors in all weather conditions, such as on train station premises, in the track area, or in signal boxes
Working with network technology, from copper to fiber optics
Performing small installation tasks
Assisting service technicians with assignments in the region and gaining valuable experience
