Supply Chain Haverhill, Massachusetts We have an exciting opportunity for a buyer/planner at Winchester Interconnect in Haverhill, MA. If you enjoy working in a fun, collaborative, and fast paced environment this might be the job for you This role is an essential part of our team who will ensure the necessary tools and supplies are available to provide the highest quality products to our customers world wide You will be working with the buying/planning team to source new vendors while maintaining positive supplier ratings.

Keep up with AS9100 supplier surveys
Maintain and review supplier ratings
Source new vendors
Conduct purchasing transactions
Control costs and find cost reductions by analyzing purchase requisitions for accuracy
Assist departments in initiating requisitions and orders
The buyer/planner will collaborate with the quality department, the sales team and the manufacturing team to initiate requisitions. This person will assist the quality team with RMA dispositions and corrective actions related to vendors. Communication is essential with suppliers and customers regarding shipments and returns. The buyer/planner will collaborate with the manufacturing and production teams to order supplies and tooling necessary for success. Collaboration with the accounting team to source new vendors is essential.
Collaborate with other teams to order and purchase tooling and supplies
Maintain supplier performance ratings
Maintain on time delivery ratings
Ensure best PPV% available
**Criteria for Success:**
Bachelors degree in operations management or other related business degree; or 5 years of buying experience
Or any equivalent combination of experience and education
Proficient computer skills with manufacturing software
Must be able to pass drug test
