**Job Summary:**
Under general supervision of a Commodity Manager, responsible for Planning and Purchasing materials to support the ZOLL production line. Making Expense Buys.
**Essential Functions:**
Work with Oracle system and MRP for assigned items
Generate and issue POs, managing, and maintaining metrics
Action MRP messages to support ideal inventory levels
Communicate with suppliers and maintaining purchase order dates and pricing
Communicate with other departments on material status and delivery dates of shortages
On-Time Delivery and Supplier improvements as needed.
Maintain items and MRP fields to support ideal inventory levels and accurate MRP calculations
Support Engineering and SQE with engineering changes and quality issues
Provide New Product support
**Skill Requirements:**
Good knowledge of MRP systems, Oracle preferred
Skilled on Microsoft Office Products Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
APICS Certification
**Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:**
Bachelor's Degree
Have at least 3 years buying/planning experience
