Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Application Support Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team at our location in Kassel. As part of our company's exciting "Green Transformation," our Energy Data Management & Market Interaction team is responsible for maintaining and developing the associated IT systems and services, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.

Your Responsibilities

Our customers rely on us for a significant amount of energy. To manage and calculate these energy quantities, we use a complex Energy Data Management System (EDM) that receives, efficiently manages, calculates, and distributes time series data from all over Europe to connected systems.

As an Application Support Engineer (m/f/d), you will work with an existing IT team to operate and further develop the EDM. In addition to providing technical support, you will also develop a deep understanding of energy data management and work closely with the business. Your role will involve ensuring the accurate processing of energy data and supporting the IT side of contract management within the system. Through thorough monitoring and testing, you will also ensure that even the smallest errors are detected and resolved.
