ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL RUTLAND MIDDLE SCHOOLRutland Public Schools seeks a dynamic, creative, student-oriented educator who will provide excellent leadership for Rutland Middle School as Assistant Principal.

Rutland Middle School serves approximately 250 students in grades 7 and 8 in a comprehensive, teamed approach. Experience and competence in special education is preferred.

The Assistant Principal helps provide leadership for the support services team, as well as a focus on curriculum, instruction and data analysis.

Applicants must demonstrate an impressive work ethic, strong interpersonal and communication skills, solid educational and experiential preparation, a thorough understanding of current research on teaching and learning in a standards-based environment, and experience in motivating colleagues as well as students to maximize their potential.

Licensure, or eligibility for the same, as a Vermont Principal is required.
