- Receive and review invoices; prepare and submit invoices for approval.
- Compare subcontractor invoices against POs validating funding and period of performance.
- Verify vendor employee labor setup and project labor categories.
- Assist billing in the preparation of client billings as needed.
- Issue and track travel authorizations and reconcile prepaid travel expenses.
- Code and enter project-based purchase orders and invoice vouchers inCostpoint.
- Post vouchers, select and process semi-weekly vouchers for payment.
- Generate and upload accounts payable ACH files to the bank.
- Track and process for payment reoccurring, high volume invoices under AMEX.
- Respond to vendor and employee inquiries with exceptional customer service.
- Verify and reconcile allTravelExpense Reports (TER) for JTR compliance and applytraveladvances and company-paid expenses.
- Diligently maintain the integrity of the electronic archives.
- 1099 preparation and filing.
- Assist the accounting team with account reconciliations and discrepancy resolutions.
- Degree in a related field or 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience withCostpointpreferred.
- Solid Microsoft Outlook and Excel experience.
- Extensive attention to detail and organization in physical and digital environments.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and often changing priorities.
- Strong commitment to see a task through to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk reports to the Accounting Manager and is part of a dynamic GOVCON accounting team that values cross-training and growth.
The A/P Clerk is responsible for performing MELE's day-to-day accounts payable function independently taking ownership of the position.Working within Deltek Costpoint with an emphasis on complex PO Vendor Labor Vouchering, extreme attention to detail is necessary to manage accurate coding.
The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and possess the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
