- Documentation and Reporting: Documenting processes and work is a critical aspect of this role. Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, test results, and project milestones.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical and electrical engineering, PLC programming, and reverse engineering. Pursue opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement to drive innovation and excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering roles, with a focus on integrated systems and machinery.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic) and experience with industrial automation systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, including kinematics, dynamics, and materials science.
- Demonstrated ability to reverse engineer complex machinery and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimization.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools is a plus.
- Basic welding experience would be a plus.
