    MV Varsity Boys Lacrosse Open Head Coach Position

    About MVRCS

    Mystic Valley Regional Charter School in Malden, MA was founded in 1998. The school serves over 1,600 students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Central to Mystic Valley's academics and athletics is the incorporation of selected core virtues and the fundamental ideals of our American Culture, which are embodied in the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.

Our students have attained the highest levels of success at the post-secondary level, a testament to the preparation they received from their time at Mystic Valley.

    Job Summary:

    Mystic Valley Athletics seeks an experienced Varsity Boys Lacrosse Head Coach for the 2024 Spring season. A strong candidate would bring high school level/college level playing or coaching experience, leadership and communication skills, and a positive and energetic attitude daily.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and schedule a regular practice program
    • Develop workout and training regiments, oversee program development
    • Manage travel logistics – works with AD
    • Equipment / Uniform Inventories
    • Support and adhere to School Policies
    • Perform additional coaching duties as necessary
    • Score Reports – Postgame using direct link

    Requirements:

    • Available for early game day departures
    • Must take NFHS Concussion Certification Course (within year 1)
    • Must become CPR / First Aid Certified (within year 1)
    • Understanding of Mystic Valley's Mission & Philosophy in support to student-athlete success

    Preferences:

    • Past playing experience (college / high school)
    • Coaching experience at the high school or higher level

    The position will be evaluated yearly and will be an annual appointment.
