Retail Pricebook Specialist


The Retail Pricebook Specialist plays a key role in managing and overseeing retail pricing, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, coordinating price book integration with POS and accounting systems, and procuring essential item information from suppliers.

Working closely with the store management team, the Pricebook Specialist supports the seamless integration of price book and POS devices to maintain data accuracy.

Requires proficiency in retail software, Excel, accounting software, and Adobe.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Managing the company's price database operations, including new item setup, pricing coordination, and ensuring accurate information
  • - Monitoring daily price book downloads and addressing any discrepancies promptly
  • - Reviewing daily paperwork to rectify any errors or irregularities
  • - Maintaining retail margins as per guidelines
  • - Implementing pricing changes and operational tasks
  • - Setting up procedures for centralized pricebook and POS system
  • - Generating monthly reports on sales and margins
  • - Analyzing promotional performance and making recommendations
  • - Assisting with inventory management
  • - Providing training and technical guidance to team members
  • - Managing pricing activities and communication effectively
  • - Collaborating with vendors and managers on promotions and pricing strategies
  • - Maximizing pricing opportunities with store managers
  • - Identifying system inefficiencies and proposing enhancements
  • - Supporting new store setups

Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior data entry/accounting experience with financial analysis knowledge

Experience in convenience store operations and familiarity with POS systems, retail accounting, and pricebook preferred

Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities

Numerical literacy and attention to detail

Effective organizational and time-management skills

Results-driven with a proactive attitude
