RECEIVING/WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN

Currently we are recruiting for experienced Receiving/Warehouse Technician to join the Polaris team.


OVERVIEW
The Receiving/Warehouse Technician is responsible for the Ordering, Receiving and Stocking of Pharmaceutical product. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of Bulk Pharmaceutical product and materials used for the Re-Packaging process. Comply with all applicable SOP's.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain all required documentation, including Invoices and Purchase Orders
  • Proper inventory control of Bulk drug product
  • Manage time and resources to complete all receipts in a timely fashion
  • Create Purchase Orders for incoming drug product
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness
  • Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA, FDA, DEA, OSHA, etc.
  • Ensure the integrity of the drug supply chain through best practices
  • Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred but not necessary
  • Basic personal computer skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Able to work during inclement weather
  • Reliable
  • Good organization/Attention to detail
  • Must be able to work various shifts and days

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
  • May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY
We provide qualifying full-time employees with 23 PTO (Paid Time Off) days annually. PTO is used for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal leave.


Please note we are a long-term care pharmacy open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. And schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
