    Utilize your excellent interpersonal skills at Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the Western United States. We currently have an opening for a Receptionist in our Reno office.

    If you enjoy working in a friendly, fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle day-to-day work challenges while adjusting to multiple demands and priorities, then this may be your next opportunity

    The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm in the office.

    Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Answer all phone calls promptly and courteously and take accurate and complete messages.
    • Greet visitors and announce their arrival by immediately notifying appropriate personnel.
    • Escort or direct visitors and clients to conference rooms as appropriate.
    • Monitor visitors and vendors for security purposes and understand security procedures.
    • Represent the Firm's professional image by maintaining a neat and organized appearance at the reception desk and surrounding areas.
    • Oversee our conference room calendars.
    • Manage all catering orders.
    • Update library materials by replacing outdated editions.
    Additional expectations:
    • Communicate clearly and professionally with all lawyers, employees and visitors.
    • At least 2 years experience in customer service or a professional environment.
    • Prior law firm experience preferred.
    • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
    • Have a professional appearance, enthusiastic attitude and clear and courteous telephone voice.
    • Ability to work under pressure, respond quickly to changing demands and be self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Must be able to solve problems effectively and creatively.
    • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word and Excel).
    • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional behavior and judgment in dealing with delicate situations.
