    Description
    Seeking a highly skilled

    Dashboard Data Governance and Data Quality Engineer

    to support the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

    The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, quality, and governance of data within the program.

    The Data Governance and Data Quality Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce data governance standards, perform data quality assessments, and contribute to the overall success of the program.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures specific to the program.

    Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance requirementFacilitate data stewardship activities, including data ownership assignments, data classification, and metadata management.

    Develop and maintain data governance tools, such as data dictionaries, data lineage, and data cataloging, to support the effective managementCollaborate with technical teams to recommend and implement data governance and data quality improvement initiatives.

    Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
    Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on data governance best practices, data quality standards, and data management processes.
    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

    Must be a US citizen and pass a background investigationAble to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD)Proven experience working in data governance and data quality roles in support of government programs.

    Expert knowledge of data governance frameworks, principles, and best practices.
    Strong understanding of data quality assessment methodologies and data profiling techniques.
    Familiarity with data management tools and technologies, such as data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality tools.
    Solid understanding of government data governance policies and regulations, particularly related to cybersecurity and information security.
    Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    Relevant certifications in data governance and data quality management (or cyber security, such as Security+) are a plus.
    Data analytics experience in Cloud environments
