The exentra GmbH, an innovative software company for next-generation business intelligence software located in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer with a focus on process improvement between software development and operational workflows and procedures (m/f/d) (40 hours/week) in a permanent position.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of DevOps processes and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) in a Java environment
  • Development, automation, and optimization of CI/CD infrastructure and processes
  • Ensuring smooth rollouts and updates
  • Introduction of new tools for continuous delivery
  • Design of operational and deployment concepts
  • Provision and maintenance of network and server infrastructure, as well as hardware and software
  • Documentation of procedures and security policies
  • Ensuring agile collaboration between developers and operations in daily practice
  • Telephone customer support and internal team support
  • Data backup and data security (according to GDPR)

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist for system integration, or outstanding career changer
  • Ideally, first professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Experience in agile software development
