- Bachelor's of Science degree in any engineering discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience
- OR Masters degree in any engineering discipline and 12 years of related experience
- OR PhD degree in any engineering discipline and 9 years of related experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Advanced understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- Systems Engineering Certification
- 6+ yrs of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
- Professional Engineering License
- Able to create unified user experiences throughout a given application
- Experienced with developing and orchestrating usability studies and addressing issues that are discovered
- Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis & functional allocation
- Conduct system requirements reviews
- Develop concepts of operation & interface standards
- Develop system architectures
- Perform technical and nontechnical assessment & management
- End-to-end flow analysis
- Generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness
