Job DescriptionVaco's Healthcare client is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist with the Month-end Close process, Journal Entries, and Intercompany Transactions. Their office is located in Nassau County, NY and the client is looking to add an additional accountant to their team. A 4-year college degree, specifically in Accounting or Finance, is required. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and Formula Generation are required. Let's begin by applying within

Staff Accountant
Salary: approx. $60-65k+
Near Hempstead, NY – ONSITE

Responsibilities:

Perform Month End Close duties
Perform Financial Statements and Analysis
Variance Analysis
Journal Entries
General Ledger Reconciliations
Perform Ad hoc reporting, as needed

Skills Needed:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, required
Advanced Microsoft Excel
