- High volume transactions
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Meeting processing and reporting deadline
- Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish
- Proven experience in financial accounting, data entry, and bookkeeping
- Knowledge of accounts receivable and payable processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Company DescriptionThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to financial accounting, including data entry, accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting. The Junior Staff Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant at Air Charter Service in the Long Island Area.
