    Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

    Location: Ellicott City, MD, is a historic town located in Howard County known for its charming Main Street lined with boutique shops, cafes, and historic architecture. Situated along the picturesque Patapsco River, Ellicott City offers residents and visitors a blend of small-town charm, outdoor recreation, and cultural attractions, making it a popular destination in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
    • Assist in the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans to address individual needs.
    • Collaborate closely with educators and families to support student progress and participation in educational activities.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
    • Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program.
    • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a school-based setting.
    • Passion for working with children and positively influencing their lives.
