Description

Responsibilities:
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist for mail order pharmacy.

  • Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
  • Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
  • Repackage bulk medications.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies.
  • Communicate with patients by phone.
  • Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

Requirements:


Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications.

Education:


  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Pay:
From $20.00 per hour

Experience:


  • Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (required)
