Overview:


A seasoned Retirement Plan Administrator is responsible for a complex book of business including plans with specialized processes and structures, monitoring retirement plan transactions and performing record keeping duties necessary to comply with regulatory reporting requirements.

In addition to daily recordkeeping duties, tenured Administrators will participate in departmental initiatives and training of less tenured peers.


Responsibilities:


  • Attend continuing education courses and seminars that focus on Compliance and Retirement Plan administration. Complete all assigned internal training courses by designated completion dates. Identify compliance issues related to assigned book of business elevate to the appropriate level of management.
    Ensure timely completion of annual testing. Complete and timely filing of all forms. Evaluate and respond to client and auditor requests within Fulton Financial Corporation and Fulton Financial Advisors policies and procedures, service standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • The plan administrator is accountable for the timely and accurate delivery of administrative service to assigned clients. The position is responsible for coordinating all recordkeeping functions necessary to the delivery of administrative services to clients. Manage day to day operations for assigned clients. Respond to client, auditor, and Relationship Manager inquiries, research client issues, resolve service issues and errors and demonstrate proactive, solution based approach to client service. Coordinate and execute key client events. Processes conversions, reconversions, and plan terminations. Proactively manage account by setting appropriate expectations. Plan Enhancements and administrative changes. Processes complex transactions, such as fund swaps. Perform duties within established key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for resolving client issues with internal departments. Effective team player willing to collaborate to achieve results. Present oral and written information in a clear, concise and organized manner. Maintain client files according to department and compliance standards, maintain logs to reflect current client information and data. Document and write follow up information summarizing sensitive client issues. Document plan issues and events in shared databases and tracking systems.
Qualifications:


Education:

Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience

Specialty:

Relevant degree pertaining to the essential duties of this role. (required)


Experience:

3 or more years Full service retirement plans which
includes discrimination & compliance testing. (required)

3 or more years Proven communicating to groups and one to one written and oral. (preferred)

This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.

Pay Transparency:

The salary range for this position is $53, $89,100.00 annually.
