Responsibilities
- Assist in the proper loading of all trucks
- Must properly band all bundles to ensure safety when transporting
- Paper wrap specific bundles as required.
- Cut wood to specific lengths as needed for each bundle
- Ensure wood blocks are properly placed between each bundle
- Check tags to ensure proper bundles are being placed on the right truck
- Keep area clean by placing scrap and trash in proper bins
- Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc.
- Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
- Package and secure steel coils and sheets
Skills
- Experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position
- Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, overhead crane)
- Strong communication skills
- Dexterity and attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Availability to work overtime

Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 2 years (preferred)
