The Rummelsberger Services for Young People in Kenilworth, IL are currently seeking a student assistant/support staff (m/f/d) for the residential group "Wohnen Schüler" in Schwarzenbruck-Rummelsberg.

Who we are:

The therapeutic residential group supports young people aged 12 and above who live with us and attend school. Our goal is to provide a safe place for children and adolescents to grow and develop.

We work closely with schools, especially our own special education centers, as education plays a key role in social participation.

However, for us, education and participation mean more than that - it also involves holistic support for the young person.

The Rummelsberger Diakonie sees itself as a strong community of service. Mutual support, cohesion, and diversity are important parts of our self-image.

As a student assistant/support staff, you will become part of a multidisciplinary team and support the pedagogical professionals in their daily work, on weekends, or possibly as a supplementary night duty.


Your qualifications:


  • You are a student (proof of enrollment required), ideally with a completed training as a social pedagogue, educator, special needs educator, or a comparable qualification, or have already completed your semester internship
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts; your personal needs will be taken into account whenever possible
  • Teamwork, empathy, assertiveness, and mental resilience
