Your tasks and learning content:

  • Keeping the flow of goods going: As the link between suppliers and our stores, you independently ensure that the flow of goods never stops. You carefully and systematically check incoming deliveries and put together shipments for our markets based on orders.
  • Taking on administration: With the computercontrolled warehouse management system (WMS), you always have an overview. You document inventory, control processes, and manage internal information flow.
  • Moving things safely: In order to move goods safely, quickly, and gently, you will learn how to handle all the equipment used in material handling and transport logistics.

Conditions:
Duration of apprenticeship: 3 years


Training locations:

  • The dm distribution center in Waghaeusel
  • The Friedrich-List Vocational School in Karlsruhe

Educational requirements:
At least a very good secondary school leaving certificate.
