Interior/exterior Building Cleaner - Hampton Roads, United States - Coastal Cleaning Company, LLC

We are looking for 3-4 Professional Cleaners to add to our team to carry out apartment building cleaning duties


Duties will include:

sweeping and mopping building stairwells (both interior and exterior), wiping handrails, removing cobwebs, wiping down surfaces such as mailboxes, cleaning laundry rooms and fitness centers, cleaning clubhouses and offices, etc.

Reliability and attention to detail is an absolute must. This is a part-time position starting out, but has potential to grow into a full-time rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document routine inspection and cleaning activities with a provided checklist
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as needed
• Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Ability to follow a given schedule, with a degree of flexibility for unforeseen changes and additions that occur from time to time
• Follow all health and safety regulations including proper use of PPE, chemicals, and equipment

Skills

• Proven working experience as a cleaner references are a plus Experience is not required, we are willing to train anyone who is willing to work hard and follow a checklist but it is a plus
• Ability to handle moderately heavy equipment (gaspowered leaf blowers are used in exterior hallways and breezeways)
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and how to use them
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and punctuality
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills

Requirements:

• Driver's license with reliable transportation; willing to go where the work is
• Cell phone with internet capabilities all scheduling & time keeping is done through an app

Note:

This position _may_ require occasional weekend or evening shifts if you have the availability and want to work, but those jobs are only occasional and not required to be considered for these positions.
