Job Description:


  • SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE: The Digital Product Designer is responsible for the overall design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and testing.
Their primary goal will be to enhance user experience while ensuring product functionality and aesthetics. They will have the opportunity to create and design products that meet the needs of users and align with the company's business goals. The Digital Product Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, marketers, and product managers, to bring cohesive and innovative products to market. A Digital Product Designer must balance user needs with technical feasibility and business viability to create successful products. This position will play a crucial role in shaping the user's interaction with the product and ultimately strongly contribute to the product's success in the market.


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify user needs and translate them into design concepts.
  • Creating usercentered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback.
  • Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and highfidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Conducting user research and testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of designs with the engineering team.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Working in an Agile environment to deliver designs in a timely manner.
  • Continuously iterating on designs based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Balancing aesthetic considerations with functional, economic, and sociotechnical systems

Required Skills/Abilities/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Balsamiq, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Solid understanding of usercentered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design.
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving skills to identify and address challenges.
  • Experience in product development, from ideation to launch.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively lead crossfunctional teams.
  • Knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Experience with data analysis and using data to inform decisionmaking.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to usersystem interaction. 3+ years of experience in design, specifically in a product designer role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate design ideas and prototypes.
  • Ability to operate and thrive in a fastpaced, everevolving, growth environment.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple bodies of work at different phases in a selfdirected manner.
  • Ability to capitalize on unstructured, ambiguous business situations including the ability to manage challenges, think creatively and pivot quickly.
  • Experience working in Agile development processes
  • Education:
  • MSc/BSc degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
