    Description


    Insight Global is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant for our Ohio-based construction client, who designs and builds dynamic churches for every community.

    This person will be supporting the Sr. Accountant with things like in-house payroll, preparing for audits, AP/AR, filing, construction lien waivers, etc.

    This position will be 20-24 hours a week to start, and there may be an opportunity to increase those hours depending on workload.

    The schedule is flexible however this person must work every other Tuesday, when payroll is being run. The client is also in the process to transitioning to Sage 100.

    Key Responsibilities include:
    Produce Payroll and all relates activities with payroll. (401k, taxes, etc.)
    Manage Account Payables from sub-contractors, suppliers, and other company payables
    Manage Accounts Receivable including producing invoices
    Provide reports and support information for individual projects to Project Managers
    Interact with Company Banks as needed
    Prepare information for audits as needed
    Filing of paperwork
    Interact with and provide needed information for insurance carriers. (i.e general liability, workers, comp, claims, etc.)

    Required Skills & Experience

    5+ years of Accounting experience
    2-3 years of commercial construction accounting experience QuickBooks experience
    Strong MS Office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    Sage 100 experience
    StarBuilder Construction Accounting Software experience

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
