    JO T h e Program Manager II is responsible for the management (planning, organizing and implementation) of large complex strategic programs.

    These programs are typically highly visible initiatives with significant impact on business or product viability and ranging across multiple disciplines, businesses, and/or organizations.

    The Senior Program Manager is responsible for advancing the organizational strategic and business objectives through the alignment and integration of all programs and projects under their purview, and the coordinated management of all Program and Project Managers (who may be responsible to the Senior Program Manager for the execution of their project and its impact on the program) to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program(s).

    The Senior Program Manager will manage stakeholder and executive level sponsor expectations, as well as the requirements of external governing and oversight bodies.

    Responsible for defining program resource requirements and serves as the key program day-to-day operational interface between all Program stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for reporting on the health and overall program efforts with sound metrics and analytics. S/he facilitates Steering Committee and/or Executive Committee level program team status meetings and all other communications. The Senior Program Manager should have advanced skills in finance, cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation and conflict resolution.

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDirects, manages, implements and executes on business solutions, overseeing and optimizing projects, project teams and project performance.

    Expertise in critical path and risk assessment; cross program dependencies; management and mitigation; solution level deployment and launch management; program change control (i.e. schedule, scope, business objectives, and budget).

    Accountable for the project management process and project management deliverables for all assigned Programs Oversee and may contribute to the development of project definition and scope at the project level.

    Monitor key milestones and outcomes of responsible projects in the program(s) throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standardsConduct Program team meetings with Project Managers to ensureappropriate communication and alignmentDevelop Program level presentations, dashboards, reports and other team and executive level project communications and documentation.

    Consistently aligns projects with corporate strategy and leverages efficiencies, sharing and allocating resources across one or more Programs.
    Emulate and ensure adherence to the bank's proj. mgmt. standards through the consistent application of recognized project and program management processes; ensure discipline and controls are consistently applied to projects from initiation through completionAccountable for completion of all project deliverables within Program and ensures completion and communication of Risk mitigation plans, critical path and dependencies, Project Recovery and Business Continuity Plans, etc)Document and communicate Program changes, health and status to project teams, Business Owners and Executive SponsorsResponsible for accurate and timely reporting against the Program and budget in line with appropriate governanceThis position may have people management responsibility Responsible for all aspects of the team member life cycle, including recruitment, coaching, development and performance management.

    Bachelors or Equivalent License/Certificates:

    PMP Certification required; PgMP Certification preferred Experience - At least 12 Years M inimum 12 years of experience as a Program Manager or a combination of formal project and program management experience totaling a minimum of 12 years in a complex matrixed organization.

    8 years relevant financial services experience preferred.
    IV. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Qualifications & SkillsAble to manage all aspects of multiple projects, deliverables and timelines.
    Ability to think both tactically and strategically moving through both fluidly.
    Ability to research, interpret and incorporate industry and other best practices into project management processes.

    Support strategic priorities and execute as a thought leader/resource for senior management The Program Manager II should have advanced skills in finance, cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation and conflict resolution.

    Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management Tools.

    (Clarity, Visio, Excel, MS Project, etc.)Ability to analyze project data, metrics and financials, making data-driven analytical decisions; knowledge of data mining.

    Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management, PMLC and SDLC methodologies and tools (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative).Understanding, application, and ability to articulate industry project management principles, theories, and concepts.

    Demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative business and technology relationships; recognizes organizational limitations and uses corporate culture and resources to eliminate barriers when possible.

    Superior communication, problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization Demonstrated experience engaging the support and resources of others to achieve program goals and objectives; influencing with and without authorityAccurate and timely reporting against program deliverables Ability to think both tactically and strategically moving through both fluidly Able to identify risks and manage them, escalating when necessary Experience with enabling people to work effectively as they plan, implement and experience change Proven experience developing and coaching others indirectly or directlyV.
