    Description

    With towering European Renaissance dcor and original works of 20th century art lining the walls, decades of Jonathan tradition are felt simply by walking in the front doors of the Town Club. Within this historic backdrop, the Town Club boasts modern amenities, intuitive service, and over 200 diverse special events hosted by the Club each year that illustrates our determination to preserving tradition while exploring the newest trends of contemporary Los Angeles.

    The Town Club is filled with unique landings for your respite after a long day, with the Rooftop Terrace that lets 13 stories mute the clamor of Downtown Los Angeles, or The Grill which brings signature dishes with fresh ingredients from our Urban Garden, meticulously paired with select wines from our expert sommeliers. With event and overnight rooms, gym, food, drink, and more, the Town Club is an oasis in the heart of one of the busiest cities in the world.

    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the restaurant steps of service.
    • Demonstrate a comfortable level of knowledge regarding all food and beverage products.
    • Handle any customer reservation request promptly and to the guest satisfaction.
    • Ensure accuracy when utilizing the Club's computer system to check members are being charged properly.
    • Ensure each guest's satisfaction and troubleshoot any guest issue.
    • Work with team members to oversee the overall satisfaction of guests.
    • Follow proper alcohol and beverage control regulations, including the identification of minors.
    • Assist and communicate with kitchen regarding any dietary special requests.
    • Assist in preparing the dining room for service: Chairs aligned, menus clean and presentable, all other items available for service,
    • Assist staff in side work and tidiness between meals as directed by management.
    • Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area and dining room environment.
    • Ensure proper storage of equipment and handling of food to meet health department requirements, as well as Jonathan Club standards of cleanliness and sanitation, as described in the Policies and Procedures Manual.
    • Follow all Policies and Procedures and regulatory requirements.
    Requirements

    * Comfortable knowledge level regarding product and property's information.

    * Proficiency in verbal and written English.

    * Demonstrated willingness to learn and work.

    * Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays.
