Basketball Coordinator
General Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Basketball Director, the Basketball Coordinator will provide direction and oversight for the developmental level basketball program.
The coordinator is responsible for the management of all developmental basketball staff, contracted coaches, volunteer coaches, game officials related to the developmental basketball program.
Essential Job Functions:
The essential job functions of the Basketball Director includes, but not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate program schedule with the General Manager, Basketball Director and other key staff.
- Ensure that the basketball programs, activities, facilities and equipment follow all appropriate safety rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
- Ability to motivate and provide encouragement for participation within the basketball and other athletic programs; implement multifaceted basketball programs; administer first aid for minor injuries and exercise sound independent judgment within general RADDSports policy guidelines.
- Ability to pass a standard background check, pass a physical exam and pass a standard drug screening.
- Ability to maintain or acquire a valid driver's license.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a certification in CPR and first aid.
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university in a related field or a minimum of two years' experience in a related field or any equivalent of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.

Environment:
Work is primarily preformed in an indoor facility, but will require the ability to perform duties in an outdoor environment.
Physical:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, stand and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, grasp and make repetitive hand movement in performance of daily duties, to climb unusual heights on ladders, to lift, carry, push and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles and verbally communicate to exchange information.
