The
Security Advisor (M/F/d) will play a crucial role in expanding Splunk's Security business and increasing the number of customers using multiple products.

This position will serve as the expert for Splunk's Security solutions, supporting field activities and driving product expansion at the regional level.


This exciting and strategic role requires a highly knowledgeable individual to engage and influence potential and current Splunk customers, increasing product usage, deal sizes, and customer base through new solutions and use cases.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to create account and sales plans that promote the use of Security products and capabilities.
  • Work with Global Security Strategists to identify, define, and promote repeatable use cases and execute the gotomarket strategy.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to Sellers on the Security portfolio of solutions.
  • Advise theater sales leadership (Group Vice Presidents/Area Vice Presidents) on account progress, competitive trends, and partner ecosystem developments.
  • Share thought leadership, create content, and speak at customer and partner meetings and events.
  • Advise on gotomarket campaigns, target audiences, and personalized messaging.
  • Understand the competitive landscape within accounts and work with account teams and Global Strategists to develop competitive positioning tactics.
  • Serve as the point of contact for sharing Security solution information among regional and global teams.

Requirements:

  • 510 years of experience in a customerfacing role in an enterprise/SaaS software environment.
  • Previous experience selling Security solutions.
