Happy Ice is a vibrant and innovative dessert company, renowned for its delightful Philadelphia Water Ice. Our unique frozen treats are dairy-free, vegan friendly and and bursting with joy and flavor.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team and help us expand our dessert menu with new ice cream and Italian ice flavors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine recipes for new ice cream and Italian ice flavors.
• Experiment with ingredients, techniques, and flavors to create highquality, innovative frozen desserts.
• Conduct taste tests and adjust recipes based on feedback.
• Work closely with the production team to scale up successful recipes.
• Ensure all new creations adhere to Happy Ice's standards for being dairyfree, nutfree, and veganfriendly.
• Stay informed about industry trends and customer preferences to guide flavor development.
• Collaborate with the CEO and marketing team to launch new products effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Dessert Specialist, or relevant role specializing in frozen desserts.
• Culinary arts training, with a strong preference for specialization in pastry or desserts.
• Creative thinking with a passion for flavor innovation.
• Excellent understanding of the technical aspects of recipe development, especially for frozen treats.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
